Following an emotional 2-1 loss to Slovakia just 24 hours earlier, Canada is looking to re-group following the let-down. Jamie Lee Rattray remarked following that loss that Canada wouldn’t be phased whatsoever and that the Canadian contingent are selected from across the nation; a significant disadvantage compared to smaller nations in terms of team practices and preparation.
Great Britain is looking to re-group following a loss to the host Czech Republic in their opening round match just 18 hours earlier.

The Canada Women’s team were all smiles in their match against the British.

Canada opened the scoring early in the first with Sarah Francis finding the net just 4:36 into the game. Palotta and Kean followed and Canada led 3-0 after one. Jamie Lee Rattray followed it up with a hat-trick in the 2nd period alone, which included her 2nd and 3rd goals just 11 seconds apart in one shift!
Canada continued to press in the 3rd but Britain’s goalkeeper Quigley deserved praise for keeping the majority of shots out. Rattray fired her 4th of the game and 6th point and Canada cruised from there. 11-0 was the final.  You talk about leadership. In interview following the game, Rattray assured that the Canadian side would only continue to grow and that they would be preparing for each team individually. And that includes a brunch date with their rivals south of the border, the United States, tomorrow at 11am.
