All participants showed intensity, passion and competitiveness. Our program is growing in skill and in depth thus making selections increasingly difficult, its a true testament of the development of our players within our system.

The team consists of only 2 new defensemen and 1 new forward. This is the lowest addition of new players since the inception of our program in 2008.
The team had its best ever finish in the last World Championships in Zug 2015. Our 4th place finish was an excellent result but still one win away from playing for the championship and at least medaling. We expect our fittest and most talented team to date. Their previous experience is very important to us as players know what is expected of them in such a short tournament.
The coaches are very confident in our selections and we look forward to Pardubice.
Congratulations to all of you. There is no better honor than to represent your nation, culture and heritage at a world stage.
