Dear ISBHF Ball Hockey Family,

The ISBHF trusts that you remain safe and healthy, and we appreciate your support for the sport of ball hockey as we navigate a challenging time in our sport’s history.

In recent communications with the National Federations and Local Organizing Committees regarding the remaining scheduled 2021 ISBHF events and the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the ISBHF Board of Directors would like to make the following announcements:

Due to the continuing global pandemic and the challenges nations are currently facing with regards to travel restrictions, the ISBHF Board of Directors made the unfortunate decision that the ISBHF World Men’s & Women’s Masters Championships, hosted by the Czech Republic, scheduled for September 2021, will not take place.

The ISBHF Board of Directors has also decided that the ISBHF Arctic Circle Cup, hosted by Finland, scheduled for August 2021, shall now take place August 24-27, 2022.

These were difficult decisions for everyone in the ISBHF Family, and the 2021 ISBHF events Local Organizing Committees who work very hard to try to organize the events for all players, coaches, staff, referees, parents and fans.

The safety and health of all participants, staff, families and friends remain the highest priority for the ISBHF. The ISBHF would like to thank all of the international Board of Directors members representing their nations for their input and careful consideration in making these decisions.

The ISBHF is continuing to develop its 2022 and 2023 events calendar and an announcement will be released.

I wish good health to you and your loved ones, and everyone in the ISBHF Family. Best regards,

George Gortsos
International Street & Ball Hockey Federation
