Lebanon struck just one minute into the game and never looked back!

Lebanon struck just one minute into the game and it was their star, Haddad who pounced on a turnover in tight and buried the winner. Lebanon fired two goals within eight seconds of each other at the six minute mark and their energy just seemed to grow from there! Ross Rufiange cut the lead to two just minutes into the second period when he fired a shot from the right side past Skaff. Lebanon withstood the surge however and came back four minutes later with Haddad again who was relentless on the forecheck and put home a rebound for his second of the game.

Lebanon would kill two early penalties in the 3rd and go on to win 6-1. George Gortsos, president of the ISHBF, presented the game ball to team Lebanon following the game in the dressing room and spoke to the challenge of breaking through on the world stage.
