United Women’s Ball Hockey Foundation hosting Global Women’s Summit

Supported by Temple University and ISBHF

The world of ball hockey is poised for a transformative shift as the 1st Annual Global Women’s Summit, presented by the United Women’s Ball Hockey Foundation, supported by Temple University and the International Street and Ball Hockey Federation (ISBHF), takes place. The event, proudly sponsored by Balford, aims to drive growth and development within the sport through a focus on diversity, equity, and collaboration.

The summit brings together leaders of the game, DEI experts, athletes, and enthusiasts in an effort to foster open dialogue and collective action. With the mission of promoting diversity and inclusion, the event provides a unique platform to share experiences, address challenges, and influence the future trajectory of ball hockey.

In-Person and Virtual Participation: Acknowledging the diverse circumstances of attendees, the summit offers both in-person and virtual attendance options. This approach ensures that individuals from various corners of the globe can actively engage in discussions, workshops, and networking opportunities, regardless of their location.

Welcoming All Stakeholders: The summit extends a warm invitation to all individuals who share a passion for the sport’s growth. Athletes, coaches, administrators, advocates, and supporters, regardless of their role or gender, are encouraged to participate and contribute their valuable insights.

A Call to Action: Beyond the summit, attendees are invited to participate in an anonymous survey to help collect essential data on stakeholder perceptions and experiences related to women’s ball hockey. This data-driven approach aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the current state of the sport globally.

The 1st Annual Global Women’s Summit promises to be an event that amplifies the voices of women in ball hockey, strengthens bonds across the community, and charts a path towards a more diverse, inclusive, and vibrant future for the sport. Special thanks to Balford for their generous support and commitment to promoting and advocating for women in sport.
